About

This is a course blog populated by content published by UCLA students enrolled in the course “Transnational Women’s Organizing in the Americas” with Professor Maurice R. Magaña during Winter 2016. Here, students share brief accounts highlighting cases, both historical and contemporary, where women play(ed) important roles in collective struggles of diverse kinds. It is our hope that this blog helps shed light on the injustices women and their communities face, as well as the power that women harness when they join together in collective action.
